Park week packing

Duffel in the room. Tote on the walk. A shopper folded for a later haul. A clear bag only if the operator posts that rule. That is the set. Size caps still apply. TSA liquids still apply if sunscreen rides as a carry-on.

Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules are public: bags larger than 24 inches long by 15 inches wide by 18 inches high stay out of theme parks and water parks. Measure before you leave the room. A stuffed duffel fails that envelope even when the tote would have passed. Other parks in the metro post their own pages. Read the gate you are walking toward.

Walk bag

Canvas tote, upright bottle, a folded shopper. Do not start with a weekender on the path. The tote opens fast at security and at the locker if you use one. A bottle that lies down leaks into the snack. A packable canvas tote that already stands is the usual walk bag. A tiny zip pouch in the same cloth is for tickets and a card, not for the bottle.

Folded haul

A nylon shopper that packs into its own pouch is the later haul. It stays in the tote until a gift shop or a grocery run. Do not wear it as the park bag. It has no bottle pocket you can count on. Coral nylon and cream canvas are the same job in different cloth. Pick one fold, not both as filler.

Room bag

Zip duffel for clothes. Check it if the family-size sunscreen should not go through TSA liquids. Keep it off the park path. TSA’s liquids rule limits carry-on liquids to 3.4 ounces or less in one quart-sized bag. A tote as a personal item still has to live with that rule if sunscreen rides through MCO. The duffel you check can take the family-size tube.

Gate bag, only if posted

Clear stadium bag when the operator page says so. Read the gate page that morning. Disney parks do not require a clear bag as the default. Some concerts do. A clear PVC tote with black webbing still has to pass the same 24 by 15 by 18 envelope. Clear is a material. It is not a free pass on size.

Order of the kit

Measure the walk bag against the posted envelope. Pack the duffel for the room. Fold one shopper. Add a clear bag only after you have read the gate page. Do not buy a weekender to walk a park. Do not buy a clear tote because a concert last year wanted one. Licensed park packs stay generic on this shop. Magnets belong on Magnet Company, not in this packing list.
